Sindri (Entertainer) Sindri Karl Jónsson (born September 26, 1987), who performs under the mononym Sindri, is an Swedish recording artist, songwriter and producer.

Early life:
Sindri was born in Valby and raised in Malmö, Sweden. He is one of 4 siblings, father is icelandic and mother is swedish. At a young age, Sindri was introduced to the world of music. With his father playing guitar and mother playing clarinet. At age 9, Sindri started to play the drums. At 14, he was writing songs and developing ideas with a dubbel deck bombox he found in the junkyard.

2009 released a mixtape called T.A.P with local rapper D.T, that landed on the radio in sweden and the song "Love 4 my city" later became a anthem for the city he was raised in (Malmö)
2010 released a mixtape called One day songs with D.T, that show that he was here to stay. The whole concept with the mixtape was that every song had to be produced, written, recorded and mixed in one day. But at the end of the summer 2010 his whole world came to a stop when he started having problems with his heart.
2011 released a song called "number one" that got alot of attention in sweden for it's happy summer feeling and melodys. At the end of april 2011 he went trough a heart surgery and the long and tough road to recovery began for him and his family.
2012 after the near death experience his whole perspective of life changed. And that gave him more time and motivation to work on him self and develope his style.
2013 produced a song that got a spot on MTV in the middle east

Sindri identifies himself as part of the new wave of artists. Sindri cites musicians Michael Jackson, Prince, Ryan leslie, bone thugs n harmony, Cormega, Nas as influences, in addition to expressing his admiration for Stevie Wonder, John Lennon and Diana ross. In addition to singing and Rapping, Sindri also plays the piano and drums.

Musical style:
Sindri incorporates hip hop, R&B, soul and electronic styles into his music. Sindri described his sound as "mellow mood music". Sindri is often compared to Ryan Leslie, Chris Brown, Drake and Prince.
